Bosch Indramat’s ADF160C-B05TA3-DD07-A2N1/S043 is a plain shaft motor with no sealing ring equipped with standard bearing and rated as balance class R. The motor feedback is given through a digital servo feedback with integrated multiturn absolute encoder. The ADF160C-B05TA3-DD07-A2N1/S043 has a nominal output of 52 kW and nominal torque of 331 Nm. The unit is rated for 380 V voltage and 134 A current. The unit is liquid cooled allowing it to be used at any elevation above sea level but the permissible ambient temperature ranges within 0-45 degrees Celsius. The ADF160C-B05TA3-DD07-A2N1/S043 weighs 240 kg and falls in Insulation class F. The maximum speed allowed by the standard bearing is 6000 revolutions per minute.
The unit is protected against water seeping and damage by its housing and coverings; protection category of the motor is IP 65. The power terminal for the spindle motors can be either a terminal box or a power connector; preference is specified when the order is placed. The power terminal has integrated connections for the motor NTC thermistor which protects the motor against overheating, and the holding brake.
