Product Description
The ADF160C-B05TA1-BS07-D2N1 is the main spindle motor created by Bosch Rexroth for Indramat motors to be used in a wide range of tool applications like printing machines and plastic injections molding machines. It can be used in liquid-cooled and digital servo main spindle motors. The Indramat main spindle motor features a balanced output shaft with key and shaft sealing ring, a 160 motor size, standard bearing, and reduced balance class. It does not have a holding brake or a side B shaft end, but the power connector is located in the output direction side A while the coolant is on side B.
The ADF160C-B05TA1-BS07-D2N1 main spindle motor features a digital servo motor feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder. It is in charge of regulating the rotor speed and position of the motor. Since it uses an absolute encoder, it works better than the other spindle motors in the series without one, as the multiturn absolute encoder can tell you the exact position of the rotor from the moment it's turned on. This way, it can send the position to the main spindle motor's drive to regulate the rotor quickly. It functions with a resolution of 1/2 000 000th revolutions. When setting up the motor, it's vital to properly handle the temperature so that the motor feedback works safely.
The design of the ADF160C-B05TA1-BS07-D2N1 main spindle motor allows for flange mounting, which means that mounting flange with a lead through a drill hole is possible. This is the BO5 design, which allows for three different mounting orientations. The motor is always liquid-cooled, which means that you can mount it at any installation elevation. The coolant temperature at the entrance is 10 to 40 degrees Celsius while with an increase of nominal heat dissipation, it is 10 degrees Fahrenheit. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
