Product Description
Bosch Indramat’s ADF motor comes with digital servo feedback with integrated multiturn absolute encoder. The shaft is plain with no sealing ring, bearings are standard and balance class is R as per DIN ISO 2373. The motor is also specialized for flange mounting. The motors are meant to be used as servo drives for tool machines and have been tried and tested in printing, textile and plastics injection molding machines. Featuring broad speed ranges and broad field weakening range of 1:6 the motor feedback measures are also capable of functioning at a resolution of 1/200000th revolution. The main spindle motor functions in accordance with the induction principle making it maintenance free.
Environmental temperature should be kept within 0-45 degrees Celsius for safe functioning of motor. Liquid cooling allows the motor to be used at any elevation. The plain output shaft is optimal for friction locked shaft hub connections due to its higher run quality and backlash free connection between shaft and hub. The spindle motors are equipped with lifetime lubricated deep-groove ball and cylindrical roll bearings with a service life of 20000 working hours under optimal operational conditions. Non-conforming loads or overloading the motors can cause shortening of the service life.
An inbuilt motor NTC thermistor also monitors and protects against overheating. The position of the power terminal can also be specified on order placement but cannot be changed once unit is delivered. A shaft extension makes it possible to attach an additional position encoder to the B side of the motor. In case of damaged product or repairs, Wake Industrial also provides these services. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
