Product Description
The ADF134B-B05TA0-BS27-A2N2 is a main spindle motor produced by Rexroth Indramat. When connected to a suitable drive controller, this spindle motor can rotate over a broad speed range and operate with a broad field weakening range of 1:6. The spindle motor is produced according to the induction principle; thus, it is maintenance-free and cost-effective. The motor can be applied in textile machines, printing machines, and plastic injection machines. It contains an integrated multiturn absolute encoder which provides the drive controller with motor position feedback by measuring the degree of rotation within 360 and tracking the number of total revolutions of the shaft using a unique word for each position and number of revolutions.
The ADF134B-B05TA0-BS27-A2N2 main spindle motor is liquid-cooled. The power connection is located above the motor and directed towards side A of the drive. The spindle motor also features a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring. It meets the balance class S, according to DIN ISO 2373. The spindle's housing is produced according to the IP54 protection category; thus, it can effectively withstand dust and penetration of water sprayed from a nozzle onto the equipment from any direction.
The ADF134B-B05TA0-BS27-A2N2 spindle motor consists of two main electrical connections; the power connection, and the motor feedback connection. The power connection is usually integrated with the motor holding connection and the motor NTC thermistor connection. All of the electrical connections in the motor uses Rexroth Indramat cables with a minimum diameter of 16 millimeters. The spindle motor weighs about 94 kilograms and operates with a nominal current of 68 Amperes. The motor can be must be properly grounded to protect operators from the leakage current.
