It comes with an integrated holding brake. The holding brake can be ordered in two separate modes i.e. electrically engaged clamp and electrically engaged release. The holding brake remains the most effective for the first 20,000 motor revolutions when braking the axis. The main spindle can be locked via the electrically engaged holding brake. The main spindle can be located in its position when the drive enable is switched off or the motor is standing still. The motor’s linear axes can be held with the electrically released holding brake. This motor has a radial sealing ring on the shaft. The seal is used to protect the motor against wear. The lubricant used with the sealing also acts as a coolant and plays a significant role in dissipating additional heat.
The ADF134B-B05TA0-BS07-A2N1 comes with cylindrical roller bearings and lubricated ball bearings that are lifetime lubricated. The bearings have been designed to serve for a mechanical service life of 20,000 hours. The output shaft of this ADF motor has been designed for the torque of a constant direction. The output shaft has a form fitting shaft hub connection.
