The ADF132B-B05TB3-BS07-A2S1 is a special type of main servo motor manufactured by the indramat to deliver kinetic energy for industrial machines with high-efficiency and great precision. The spindle motor's speed and position are controlled by the signals the spindle motor recives from the drive controller. Characteristics of the spindle motor that makes it efficient and perfectly suited for industrial production machnes include broad speed range, high service life and a broad field weakening range of 1:6. The spindle motor has a high motor feedback resolution of 1/2 000 000th of a revolution; this high feeback revoltion allows the drive controller to control the motor at the lowest of speeds.
The spindle motor features a plain shaft without sealing ring. The shaft of the spindle motor can reach rotational speeds as high as 7500min-1, leading to the production of a large amount of frictional heat. To control the frictional heat generated by the spindle motor, the motor is equipped with a lifetime lubricated deep groove ball and cylindrical roller bearings. This lubrication at the groove balls and roller bearings also performs the additional function of heat regulation. If the spindle motor is operated with the normal load as stipulated in the motor's documentation, it can operate for an extended period of about 20,000 hours.
The spindle drive is produced following DIN 40050 protection category. The drive has a nominal speed, nominal power output, nominal torque of 2000min-1, 20 kilowatts, and 96 Newton-meters respectively. For optimal results, the drive should not be operated at an ambient temperature not greater than 45 degrees Celsius. Also, the minimum core diameter of the cables used in the spindle motor should not be more than 16 millimeters square.
