Product Description
The ADF104C-B05TA1-CS07-A2N2 is and ADF main spindle motor manufactured by Indramat. It finds its use in machine tools, plastic injection molding, texting, and printing applications.
As far as ambient conditions for operation, ADF main spindle motors do not have any altitude restrictions. This is because they are liquid cooled. As long as the cooling parameters of the coolant are maintained, the motors can be used at any elevation. An ambient temperature range of 0- 45° C is needed for the motor feedback to be operated safely. According to DIN 40050, the ADF main spindle motors are have protection from contact with either live or moving motor parts, extrinsic objection penetration, and from water entry. This protection is provided the motor housing and coverings.
For the motor housing, the primary paint color coating is black. An additional layer of paint can be added on top of this prime coat, but this cannot be thicker than 40 µm. The prime coat protects from weathering, yellowing, as well as from chalky build ups and dilute acidic and alkaline solutions. The coat can eventually peel off if it is cleaned often with a steam cleaner.
All the motors in this series are designed for mounting flange with lead through drill hole according to Design B5. For mounting instructions, DIN 42950 can be referred to. At delivery, the motor will either be on a pallet or in cartons. When storing the motors, the environment must be dust-free and protected from impact as this is a potential hazard. The ambient storage temperature range is in the range of -25- +85° C. The protective sleeve must be kept on until installation. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
