The ADF104C-B05TA1-BS07-C2N2 model comes with a flange mounting design which helps it to install in different orientations of IM B5, IM V1, and IM V3. The main spindle motor is protected with IP 65 protection class which provides complete protection against dust and low-pressure water jets but if the liquid is collected along the output shaft over a longer period of time when the motor is mounted at IM V3 orientation it will not prevent the liquids from penetrating into the motor housing even if a shaft sealing ring is used. The main spindle motor comes with a plain output shaft with a shaft sealing ring to prevent coolant leakage and the coolant is supplied through an inlet hole which is located on side B. The motor housing is painted with a prime coat to provide resistance against diluted acid and alkaline solutions.
The model ADF104C-B05TA1-BS07-C2N2 normally operates at the speed of 2000 rpm and delivers the output power of 15 kW at 72 A of current supplied by a power supply of AC 220V coming from a drive controller. The model comes with A-side power connectors for electrical connections and provides high speed and torque for main spindle drives and servo drives for different automation purposes. The model is widely used for textile, printing, and plastic injection moulding machines. The model comes without any holding brake with BS ADF 100 C winding type.
