Product Description
The ADF104B-B05TA1-BS06-A2N2 Bosch Rexroth spindle drive has a built-in thermostat to monitor the NTC and to protect the ADF motor from overheating. The thermostat, through the spindle drive, sends down an error message to the monitor whenever it starts overheating or incase the ADF motor shuts down due to excessive heat. The feedback connection on the spindle drive includes a nine pin socket and is located next to the power terminals. You could, however, indicate where you want the feedback socket to be positioned when placing your order. Note that the re-positioning cannot be done once the ADF motor is delivered.
The motor is manufactured with two holding brakes, which include the electrically-engaged clamp or electrically-engaged release. The electrically released brake holds the linear axes into the right position whenever the drive stops functioning. By default, the motor should not be turned off before the brakes clamp the mechanical system to a standstill. The ADF104B-B05TA1-BS06-A2N2 spindle brake has braking energy protection hence safeguarding your drive in case there is a power surge. The electrically released brake cannot be installed in servo applications and cannot function where there is no power.
The holding brakes have a life span capacity of 20,000 motor revolutions clamping the axis. In a scenario where the motor has not functioned beyond two years, rasp the holding brakes before use, run the ADF motor at a speed of 100 pa min, put in 24 V current to the holding brake, and allow the brake to open close repeatedly after one second for about one minute.ADF spindle motor is also effectively balanced according to the balance class R DIN ISO 2373 and can meet various mechanical demands. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
