Product Description
The ADF100D-B05TA1-AS07-A2N2 motor made by Bosh Rexroth is designed to function at any height when mounted because it uses liquid for cooling. The recommended temperature for operating the spindle motor ranges from 0° to a maximum of 45. Along with the drive controller, the ADF spindle motor has a wide speed range and a deeper field range of 1:6. The ADF motor also has a holding brake to clamp the output shaft at one steady position. The brake ensures that the spindle drive is firmly held in one area when mounted on a machine. The holding brake is available in two versions: electrical actuated clamp or release clamp.
The ADF motor has a DIN 40050 protection class on its internal parts. The housing of the motor protects the inner parts from coming into contact with the ADF100D-B05TA1-AS07-A2N2 movable parts (widely known as contact guard), penetration from sharp objects, and water that might drench in. The contact guard is further classified into different International Protection (IP) classes denoted by two digits e.g. IP 12. The first digit represents protection grade from solid objects whereas the second indicates protection grade from water.
The ADF100D-B05TA1-AS07-A2N2 spindle motor has protection in the following categories: The First Digit in IP: 0 - no protection. 1, 2, 3, 4 – Protection from solid objects measuring 50mm, 12 mm, 2.5 mm, and 1mm respectively. 5, 6 - protection against dust: semi-protection and full protection, respectively. The second Digit in IP 0 - no protection 1, 2, 3, – Protection from water: vertically dripping, vertically dripping water when the housing tilted at 15°, 60° respectively. 4, 5 - Semi protection against water sprayed at the motor housing and full protection from water spayed straight to the motor's body. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
