2AD Motor - An essential Motor for High-Pressure Applications
2AD series AC motors are constructed to offer an intelligent drive solution at a broad range of speeds in the machine tools as main spindle drives and servo drives or to be used in printing, packaging, and reshaping machines. The 2AD motor works excellent at the altitude of above sea level up to 1,000 meters and at ambient temperatures from 0° to +45°C. Outside these ranges, you can expect some power drop off. The motor has housing and covers to prevent it from the contact of moving parts and penetration of water or other solid objects.
The 2AD160B-B350B2-BS11-B2N1 motor is available in two different versions one is B05 for flange mounting and the other is B35 for both flange and foot mounting. The main spindle motors are equipped with the lifetime lubricated groove ball and cylindrical roller bearings.
For Cooling, the motor is equipped with the blower at side B. The surface can be cooled by two air stream directions, either by blowing or by suction.
Electrical connections can be established in 3 different ways, power connection with motor NTC thermistor and the holding brake, motor feedback connection and motor blower connection.
Store the motors in a horizontal position that too in a dry, dust-free condition. The installation has to be undertaken only by qualified personnel, and check that installation is completed correctly before operating your motor. Only use the manufacturer specified replacement tool.
