Designed for production-related applications that may require high torque and speed requirements, the 2AD132C-B35OA1-CS03-A2N1 is a 96 Nm servo motor that has an Asynchronous motor design where the motor rotates at a much higher speed than the stator of the motor. This motor comes with a base speed of 1500 rotations per minute and has a peak speed rating of 7500 rotations per minute thanks to the integrated high-speed bearings that allow this motor to attain such a high speed.
The motor also comes with an inbuilt fan system that works on the blower configuration to keep the motor cool during high-speed operations. This blower fan requires 400 to 460 volts of AC to function with a 3-phase input configuration and has a voltage tolerance of 10%. The power consumption is also very adequate with a power consumption range of 83 to 100 VA depending on how hot the motor gets and how much cooling is required. The A2N1 configuration for this motor notifies that this model comes with a smooth shaft design perfect for torque transmission but it does not feature a shaft seal ring although the motor is IP 67 protected.
The motor is designed to be low inertia which allows this motor to obtain high speeds in very little time, allowing it to accelerate or decelerate very quickly, adjusting the speed of the motor in application timing is very critical. For applications where positioning of the shaft is important, the 2AD132C-B35OA1-CS03-A2N1 comes with a high-resolution feedback system which includes the option of having an encoder attached to this motor, whether it is incremental or absolute is dependent on the user's requirement.
