Product Description
The 2AD132C-B05OR1-BS03-B2N1 from Rexroth Bosch Electric is an Asynchronous servo motor. Asynchronous servo motors do not rely on the rotor speed to match the frequency of the stator’s magnetic field. Instead, they create torque based on the difference or "slip" between the rotor's speed and the magnetic field’s rotation speed. This motor has a speed rating of 1500 rpm when operating on nominal base speed while the maximum peak speed rating of this motor is 7500 rpm with the help of the standard ball bearings it features.
To keep the motor cool during high-speed operation, the 2AD132C-B05OR1-BS03-B2N1 comes with an axial blower fan that has a blower configuration that helps blow in cool air through the rear of the motor allowing it to cool the motor coil and then exiting the front end of the motor in the process. The axial blower will require 400 to 460 volts AC to operate with a 3-phase configuration and has a power consumption rating of 170 VA while providing an average airflow of 1000 m3 per hour which helps this motor cool down quickly.
This motor comes with a balanced shaft with the entire key that can help lock on couplers onto the shaft of the motor keeping the shaft balanced while spinning preventing it from vibrating or wobbling during the operation allowing for a smooth experience. The motor does come with an R vibration severity rating meaning it has been reinforced keeping the motor construction stable. This motor can also be mounted using a flange mount further adding to the stability of the motor keeping it perfectly aligned with the attached component and reducing radial and axial stress.
