Product Description
The 2AD132C-B05OB2-BS01-D2N1 is an asynchronous motor established by Rexroth Bosch. Induction motors are applied in numerous industrial applications as they have a simple structure and high reliability. These motors work with the principle of electromagnetic induction. The rotor within the motor does not have a direct attachment to the electrical power supply but rotates due to the presence of the magnetic field induced by the stator windings. It is important for operations that require high safety such as in robotic and automated systems.
Asynchronous motors have the torque to keep the rotor active and rotatable even when the main electrical supply is interrupted many times. This is because the rotating magnetic field of the motor provides force to the rotor when it is connected to the power supply. With this constant torque, these motors provide high positioning accuracy and do not require extra brakes. However, if there is a need to make sudden stoppage or holding then an extra brake can be incorporated.
In asynchronous motors, a plain shaft is used to handle the load and transmit it across the shaft, by means of a key (D2). It locks the rotating parts on the shaft so that the motor and other connected components will rotate with the shaft without slippage. Balancing the shaft is also an important factor to minimize vibration and wear to have efficient industrial operations. These motors generally demand low energy, are more dependable, have good strength, and are free from wear and tear, so they are widely used in pump, conveyor, and fan industries. This is ideal for continuous movement applications like pumps, fans, or conveyor systems, allowing motors to start and stop using variable frequency drives (VFDs) and regulating shafts with external mechanical systems.
