Product Description
Part of the 2AD series of Asynchronous servo motors from Rexroth, the 2AD132C-B05OB1-CS13-A2N1 is a 279 Volts AC servo motor with an input frequency voltage range of 50 to 60 Hz. The servo motor has a base speed of 1500 rotations per minute which, with the help of the standard high-speed bearings, allows this motor to attain a maximum peak speed of 7500 rpm. The motor also has low rotor inertia with a rating of 0.076 kgm², causing this motor to accelerate and decelerate at a much faster pace.
Since this motor is designed for high-speed applications, the 2AD132C-B05OB1-CS13-A2N1 can produce a lot of heat, which is then eradicated with the help of an axial blower fan that requires 400 to 460 volts AC to operate with a 3-phase connection. The average flow rate of this blower fan is 1000 m³ per hour, allowing the motor to cool down at a much quicker pace. The thermal time constant of this motor is 50 minutes, which is the time it takes for the motor to attain 63.5% of the steady-state temperature of the motor itself. Even with the blower installed, this motor can generate a maximum noise of 75 dB when standing 1 meter away from it.
The motor features a high-resolution feedback system to control the shaft positioning as well as the speed of the motor with the help of a tacho feedback voltage system that generates a feedback signal for every 1000 rpm of speed registered by the motor controller. The motor also comes with an electrically engaged holding brake that has a torque of 100 Nm and requires 24 volts DC to operate, consuming approximately 1.5 amperes of current.
