Product Description
With a high-resolution feedback system and a second shaft end for attaching an additional encoder, the 2AD132C-B05OA2-BS03-C2N2 from Rexroth is the perfect industrial servo motor designed for automation applications. This servo motor requires 168 volts AC nominal to operate and draws a current of up to 65 Amperes to function. The motor provides a base speed of 1500 rotations per minute, going all the way to the peak speed of 7500 rotations per minute, making it perfect for drilling applications as well.
This particular model comes with the C2N2 configuration that allows it to have a smooth shaft with a shaft seal ring to prevent dust from entering the motor from the shaft region. The motor also comes with an IP 65 protection rating against dust and moisture to keep it well-protected when installed in harsh industrial environments. This motor comes with normal standard-type bearings that must be lubricated every 20,000 cycles of use and should be replaced after 30,000 cycles of use in order to maintain performance and prolong the life of the motor. The motor design is also a low inertia design with a rotor inertia of 0.054 kg·m², allowing the motor to adjust its speed quickly.
The motor comes with an axial blower fan that helps it cool down when running hot. This blower fan pushes air from the front and exits from the back, cooling the coil in the process. The thermal time constant of this motor is 50 minutes, which is the time it takes for the motor to reach its nominal temperature value. The motor has an average sound pressure rating of 75 dB, making this motor design one of the quietest.
