Product Description
The 2AD series of induction or asynchronous motors are manufactured by Rexroth Bosch. These motors are also referred to as asynchronous because the rotor does not operate at the same rate as the magnetic field that is formed on the stator to rotate. These induction or asynchronous motors have a wide range of applications in various industries and fields that may include, pumps, fans, papers, food packaging, blowers, conveyors, compressors, and machine tools.
The 2AD132C-B05OA1-BS23-A2N1 comes with a size 132 and length C. It has a holding brake of 80 Nm which is electrically released. This brake provides a starting torque of 80 Nm. This helps in preventing the load from repositioning or moving when the motor is not functioning. When power is provided, an electrically released brake engages to keep the load at the same place; when power is shut off, the brake releases to permit the load to move.
An electromagnet or an electrical solenoid that, when activated, disengages the brake. This type of brake reduces wear of different components of the motor as well as improves efficiency, and working time, increases space and energy efficiency, and eases replacement. Such motors are used in cranes, hoists, conveyor systems, the robotics industry, and various machine tools. This motor also has a shaft without a sealing ring. The shaft helps in torque transmission of the induction motor as well as rotation, mechanical support, and machine connection. It plays an important role in dampening the noise as well as reducing the vibrations produced by the motor. The 2AD132C-B05OA1-BS23-A2N1 also consists of an axial blower that functions by minimizing the heat produced by the motor during its function.
