The 2AD132B-B35RA1-BS03-B2N1/S020 from Rexroth Indramat is an IndraDyn A series of Asynchronous AC servo motors with a power rating of 10 to 15 kW. This motor has a torque generation rating of 64 to 96 Nm and draws up to 45 Amperes of current, hence a high power supply module is recommended that can provide an operating voltage of 168 volts AC along with the required operational current.
To prevent the motor from overheating, the 2AD132B-B35RA1-BS03-B2N1/S020 comes with an inward blowing axial blower fan that takes in air from the front, gushing it out the rear of the motor cooling the coil in the process. This axial blower design makes the motor operation very low noise and quiet with a maximum noise level rating of 75 dB when standing 1 meter away from the servo motor. To mount this motor, users can mount it using both foot mounting and flange mounting, depending on the type of application this motor is being used for. The flange mounting option is perfect for reducing radial stress on the shaft and is perfect for balanced smooth shafts.
This motor must be installed in a clean area at a maximum altitude of 1000 meters above sea level. Thanks to its IP 67 protection rating, this motor can withstand harsh industrial conditions and can withstand class F fires with a maximum fire temperature of up to 170 degrees Celsius. The motor is capable enough to operate at a maximum operating temperature of 45 degrees Celsius, with a maximum humidity rate of 95%. The motor does come with a shaft sealing ring to prevent dust from entering the motor from the front.
