The 2AD132B-B35OB1-DS03-D2V1 is a high speed Asynchronous AC servo motor that can reach a speed of 7500 rpm with the help of high speed reinforced bearings. These bearings are required to be lubricated or changed after every 20000 cycles of use for optimum performance. The motor also has an easy wiring configuration as it only has 3 coils and has its power connectors placed in strategic positions, making it easier to access and maintain the motor.
This AC motor operates on 258 Volts AC and draws 30 Amperes of current and is capable of providing up to 64 Nm of rotational torque, which, with a smooth balanced shaft key, is a perfect design for torque transmission applications, especially in gearboxes. This motor design features multiple protections such as Ingress Protection of IP 65 and also Class F insulation against F-type fire with a temperature of up to 170 degrees Celsius.
This motor does not feature a blocking brake, but does come with a high resolution feedback system that relies on the closed loop configuration to rotate the shaft accurately and precisely over to the requested position or angle. The motor enclosure is made with an anodized aluminum block for a robust and corrosion-free design. It is also painted with a black prime coat of paint to prevent moisture or corrosive gases from affecting the enclosure of the motor. To overcome overheating, the 2AD132B-B35OB1-DS03-D2V1 features an axial blower that is connected to the axle of the motor, which spins once the temperature of the motor exceeds the threshold temperature. This fan sucks air from the rear of the motor, allowing the air to pass over the coils and exit the front end.
