The 2AD132B-B35OA2-BS03-A2N2 is an induction motor from the air-cooled induction motor 2AD series which has been developed by the Bosch Group of companies. These 2AD type motors are advanced servo motors designed for the challenging applications in the industrial applications. These motors are popular because of their high torque density, mechanical durability and small size as well as their capability to give very accurate control that makes them suitable to use in any condition where reliability is a must. The 2AD motors have various cooling types and can be used with a number of Rexroth's drives systems; the 2AD motors are suitable for use in machine tools, packaging machines, printing machinery and robotics. It also has a feedback mechanism which makes it easy to position with high precision and control the speed with which they move and thus they are suitable for use in industries to enhance production.

This motor as the above mentioned specifications has a maximum torque of 64 Nm and maximum current of 45 A and its base speed is 1600 RPM whereas its maximum speed is 7500 RPM. This motor has a rated power of 10 kW and this therefore makes it a suitable device for use in many industrial applications. The motor has a frame shape of type B35 which indicates that the motor is a standard flange and foot mounted motor. The cooling is done through the use of the axial blower motor with a voltage of 115 volts. The blower design is crucial in the transfer of air from the A side to the B side of the motor with an aim of regulating the temperature of the motor and hence its performance. This model does not incorporate electrically released holding brakes for its braking system. Nevertheless, it has high resolution motor feedback for relative indirect position measurement.
