The 2AD132B-B35OA1-BS03-A2V1 induction motor from Bosch Rexroth's well-known 2AD series is designed for flexibility and reliability and is mainly used as a servo drive motor as well as a rotary main spindle motor. This motor has an axial blower which blows the air flows through specific channels over the surface of the motor from one side B to the other side A in order to cool the motor. To guarantee that the blower supplies sufficient air flow for cooling, Bosch Rexroth advises to keep a minimum distance of 80 mm between the blower and walls.

In case of fluid being present in the air such as spraying or dripping, the manufacturer suggests using a labyrinth seal though it is to be noted that this motor does not come with a shaft seal.
