Product Description
The 2AD132B-B05OB1-BS00-A2N3 from Rexroth is an Asynchronous AC motor designed purely for CNC routing and drilling. This motor does not feature a digital encoder to track the shaft position, but because of its speed of up to 7500 rotations per minute, it is ideal for drilling and cutting applications. Although the motor can provide a torque of up to 97 Nm, it can be used to run gearboxes with the help of an external encoder system that keeps track of the number of rotations for the end shaft.
The motor has a current rating of 45 to 65 Amperes while it requires a voltage of up to 170 volts AC to operate. This motor is designed to deliver up to 15 kW of power and weighs approximately 135 kg, making it a heavy-duty and robust choice for demanding industrial applications. Speaking of demanding industrial environments, the 2AD132B-B05OB1-BS00-A2N3 can operate in environments with temperatures of up to 45 degrees Celsius and humidity of 95%. This motor is IP 65 protected, safeguarding it against the gritty industrial environment, shielding it from dust and water splashes.
This motor comes with the flange mounting option, which allows it to be mounted by its centering diameter, keeping the entire operation very stable, especially for high-speed rotations. The flange mounting prevents the body from vibrating too much. Another advantage of flange mounting is that the shaft is not completely exposed, keeping the surroundings safe and preventing the coupled device from slipping off the shaft and causing damage. The motor does not come with a shaft sealing and has a vibration severity grade S1, the highest grade in the category, reducing vibrations significantly.
