Part of the 2AD 132B series of motors, the 2AD132B-B05OA8-BS03-B2V1 is an Asynchronous AC motor that requires up to 170 Volts AC to operate with a current rating of 45 to 65 Amperes. This motor has a power rating of 12 kW nominal and is great for low power applications such as textile spinning machines or wrapping machines where not much speed or rotational forces are required. The motor has a torque rating of 64 Nm which can go all the way up to 96 Nm.
With the help of a digital encoder feedback system, the 2AD132B-B05OA8-BS03-B2V1 is capable of calculating its shaft position which allows this motor to operate more precisely. This type of digital encoder interface relies on modern closed-loop control systems which keep factoring in the error percentage to minimize it to near zero in order to achieve a near-perfect result. These encoders can be both absolute or incremental depending on the configuration a user selects. The encoder requires 5 volts pulses to count the number of increments which are used to divide the entire rotation into small segments.
