2AD132B-B05OA6-BS03-B2V1 is an IndraDyn Asynchronous AC servo motor. This motor has a speed rating of 1500 rpm and can reach a peak speed of 7500 rotations per minute. The motor features digital feedback for controlling the shaft and does this by counting the number of increments it passes with the help of an optical sensor or a hall effect sensor depending on the configuration the user chooses. The sensor then generates 5-volt pulses which are then sent over to the control module for calculating the steps.
This motor comes with a balanced shaft key which is necessary for high torque rotations as all the stress is placed on the shaft and it must be evenly distributed on the shaft to prevent it from breaking mid-operation. The motor also features heavy-duty bearings which allow it to achieve a speed of 10000 rpm for approximately 2 minutes. These bearings should be lubricated after every 15000 cycles of use to prevent wear and tear inside the motor and to allow it to provide smooth performance.
To cool the motor, the 2AD132B-B05OA6-BS03-B2V1 features a radial blower placed on the right side of the motor which requires 230 Volts AC to operate. This radial blower requires 3 phase connection as well and an input frequency of 50 to 60 Hz. The blower helps blow cool air into the motor which then helps cool down the internals especially the coil of the motor. The coil in this motor has a low resistance of 0.36 ohms which results in low power dissipation. The motor features foot mounting which allows it to easily connect to a stable base to prevent it from vibration too aggressively during operation.
