The 2AD104D-B05OC1-ES0D-B2N1 AC servo motor is part of the 2AD104D configuration of motors. This motor has a speed rating of 1400 rotations per minute and can attain a maximum speed of 9000 rotations per minute when using high-speed bearings along with the right kind of lubrication. This motor is designed for low torque applications as it can provide only 64 Nm of torque compared to other configurations available in the 2AD104D series.
To cool the motor during high temperatures, the 2AD104D-B05OC1-ES0D-B2N1 features a 230 Volts AC Axial blower fan that has an intake configuration. This configuration allows the ambient air to flow through the internals of the motor from the front and then exiting the back. To prevent the shaft from moving when force is applied this motor does not feature a holding brake. However, to move the shaft accurately to its position, the 2AD104D-B05OC1-ES0D-B2N1 features a multiturn encoder that stores the data about the number of rotations as well as the position of the shaft during power loss. The encoder has 2500 increments which helps increase the resolution of the encoder.
The 2AD104D-B05OC1-ES0D-B2N1 has a balanced shaft key which keeps the motor shaft load balanced when in operation to help prevent vibrations and break the shaft during rotation. This motor does not feature a second shaft at the rear where a user can attach a second encoder for reliability, increased precision, or even for data sharing between two different motor control units. The 2AD104D-B05OC1-ES0D-B2N1 has an IP 65 Ingress Protection rating for protecting it against harsh industrial environments which may affect the performance of the motor when exposed to such conditions. This motor is class F insulated protecting it against fire with a temperature of maximum 155 degrees Celsius.
