Among the wide range of motors manufactured by Rexroth Bosch Group, 2AD104D-B05OB1-GS06-D2N2 is an asynchronous AC motor. The mass of this motor is 60 kg and the minimum cross-section of the power connection is 2.5 mm2. This refers to the wire gauge or wire size that plays a crucial role in current flow, and resistance and this accurate sizing ensures the safety and performance of the motor.  The axial blower is attached to the cooling system to maintain the proper airflow.

The maximum torque value that 2AD104D can handle without exceeding its operation limit is 70 Nm and it remains the same at standstill position as well. The rated speed and derating speed of the motor is 750 rpm however it can be increased up to 9,000 rpm at its maximum performance. The rated current consumption and the standstill current consumption are the same i.e. 13.1 A. The rated power of the motor is 5.5 kW and the permissible ambient temperature ranges between 0 ℃ to 40 ℃. This motor is not equipped with a holding brake and has digital servo feedback for enhanced accuracy.

The output shaft is balanced as a complete assembly as it has both entire keys and shaft seal.The side B shaft end is not included in the balancing process. It has an N standard bearing and the S grade vibration severity. The moment of inertia of the rotor is 0.027 kgm2. This motor can withstand higher operating temperatures compared to motors with lower insulation classes such as A, B, or E due to its F-class insulations. However, it’s recommended to operate the motor below its maximum temperature rating for maximum performance.
