Bosch Rexroth manufactures high powered asynchronous motors with surface ventilation for various applications. These motors include the 2AD104D-B05OB1-FS07-C2N1 motor that comes with a frame size of 104 and a frame length of D. This motor is equipped with a blower which ensures airflow from side B to side A of the motor for efficient dissipation of heat. The motors surface cooling technology creates reliable performance even with high cyclic loads since the motor is protected from overload damage. The design of the motor also ensures that the motor is versatile for use even in moist or dusty environments since the housing of the motor is sealed against water jets and dust per IP 65 requirements.

This motor is equipped with a standard bearing delivering quiet operation and a long service life. It is rated for a nominal speed of 1,500 min-1 and can accommodate peak speeds of up to 9,000 min-1. The motors electrical connectors are located on Side B of the motor with the output direction of the power terminal being on top of the unit. This motor comes with an integrated digital servo feedback with a multiturn encoder for monitoring the speed and position of the rotor. It has a smooth shaft with a shaft seal ensuring a backlash-free and force-fit shaft hub connection. The motor is rated for vibration severity R making it suitable for heavy-duty applications with high vibration levels.
