Product Description
Servo motors have completely changed the way modern mechanical systems function. Before, manual monitoring, control, and intervention were needed to maintain mechanical systems. However, as time goes by, this manual method has proven to be inefficient, ineffective, and very prone to mistakes and failure. For this reason, Rexroth Bosch has invested its manpower and resources to perfect the craft of making high-tech and accurate servo motors. And as far as AC servo motors are concerned, Rexroth’s 2AD motors are phenomenal. Rexroth’s 2AD motors come in different sizes, weights, ratings, and loading capabilities. Because of this variability, Rexroth’s powerful 2AD motors can cater to several needs, applications, systems, tools, and machines.
The 2AD104D-B05OA1-FS06-A2N1 is a motor model derived from Rexroth’s famous 2AD series, featuring a size D 104-body frame, an FS-winding, and a standard bearing. Another unique feature of this motor model is its digital servo feedback, which allows it to perform error correction and motor adjustment when paired with a compatible drive or controller. During operation, motors generate heat as a result of energy conversion losses. To keep the motor from overheating, the 2AD104D-B05OA1-FS06-A2N1 employs a set of axial blower fans that allow air current to pass through from the motor’s rear side to the drive/shaft side.
The 2AD104D-B05OA1-FS06-A2N1's base speed at no-load conditions is 1500 rpm. During this mode of operation, the motor transmits 10 kW and 64 Nm through its shaft. The corresponding current in this mode is 22.3 A at a measured nominal voltage of 390 V. Extra precaution must be observed at all times when operating AC servo motors, as short circuits and faults may occur when touched accidentally at their live components.
