Product Description
2AD is the name of the product group of air-cooled induction motors. This variant of the motor is induction created by Rexroth, and features no derating. It means it has the same value of key speed and rated speed, continuous current at a standstill and rated current, and continuous torque at a standstill and rated torque. The rated speed, current, and torque are 1600 rpm, 20.5 A, and 48 Nm respectively. The maximum speed is the speed up to which a motor can be safely operated and it is only limited by the mechanical construction. So, the maximum speed of the 2AD104C-B05OL8-CS06-C2N1 is 9000 revolutions per minute with standard bearings.
The 2AD104C-B05OL8-CS06-C2N1 has regular grade vibration, and the driven shaft is plain. To protect the motor output shaft against spraying fluids, this induction motor has sealing rings. Rexroth manufactured this variant and all of the Rexroth motors of the 2AD series are tested to ensure operational safety and reliability. The weight of this type is 55 kg, and the rotor moment of inertia is 0.021 kgm2. The power extraction is to the left side with a minimum power cross-section area of 2.5 mm2.
The 2AD104C-B05OL8-CS06-C2N1 has winding code of CS, and flange type B05 mounting style. They are designed to be used as rotary main spindle and servo-drive motors. 2AD motors must always be operated with a blower. The motor length is C, and the motor size is 104 with a radial blower cooling system. The radial blower is adjusted at the left side with an operating nominal voltage of 230 V. The blower extracts electrical power of 60 VA, and mainly these motors are used in printing and paper processing machines. To control and monitor, the induction motor may require additional sensors and actors.
