The 2AD104C-B05OD1-CS0D-D2N1 is a Rexroth flagship product that comes from the esteemed motor family line called 2AD motors. Having a frame type of 104 and a motor size of C, this motor model has fairly large dimensions. The 2AD motors by Rexroth are a popular choice for applications requiring high radial force tolerance. These motors are known to withstand very high forces directed toward the motor shaft. However, the drawback is that these motors have low tolerance for axial loads. For this reason, it is best to use Rexroth’s 2AD motors for applications where the loads are to be attached mostly along the circumference of the rotor shaft. 

The amount of radial force that the rotor can withstand during operation is dependent mainly on two factors: the distance of the force to the base and the speed of the rotor. No matter the orientation, speed, or distance, the axial force permissible is always 30 N.
