The 2AD104B-B05OB1-CS06-D2N1 is a squirrel cage design Asynchronous motor designed to be used as a servo motor. This motor has 3 poles which can be individually excited with voltages of varying frequency for speed control and regulation. This particular model features a digital feedback system for controlling the output of the shaft by sending the output information to the control unit. The compatible control unit must be programmed for this induction motor by configuring the parameters of this particular model in the controller before operating the motor itself.
The 2AD104B-B05OB1-CS06-D2N1 does not feature a holding brake but a CS16 configuration of this particular model can allow the user to add a 30 Nm electrically clamping holding brake or a CS26 configuration which lets this motor add a 24 Nm electrically releasing holding brake. The motor features a balanced shaft key which is essential for robotics and gearbox operations as an unbalanced key might jam the planetary gears in the gearbox.
