2AD series of motors are manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. This series features asynchronous AC motors like the 2AD101D-B05OD2-BD13-A2N2 which offer high power solutions for high precision applications in various industries. This motor is a size 100 motor with a frame length of D. It is equipped with axial blowers for surface cooling of the motor. For durability, the main spindle motor with housing and cover are protected against contact with other parts and penetration by contaminants. The housing of the motor also features NTC thermistors built into the windings. The thermistor protects the motor against overheating ensuring optimal performance and durability.

The 2AD101D-B05OD2-BD13-A2N2 has a flange mounting style. It is equipped with a standard bearing which is suited for normal loads. The power terminal position is on the top of the motor with the connectors for the power located on Side B of the unit.
