Designed to provide a high torque output of 60 Nm, the 2AD101D-B05OA1-BD03-D2N2/S003 is great for packaging applications as this motor can rotate a mass of 600 kilograms with an extension of 1 meter without any hassle. This has a power rating of 12.7 hp which is plenty when it comes to high torque applications. This motor features a special design with code S003 that allows this motor to have a keyway-type shaft that can be locked in place to prevent components from slipping out of the shaft.

The 2AD101D-B05OA1-BD03-D2N2/S003 has a rotor inertia of 0.028 kgm2 which is the torque needed for a desired angular acceleration about a rotational axis. Since this motor draws 42 amperes of current which is very high it is recommended to use wires with a crosssection diameter of more than 10 mm2 to prevent the wires from melting or preventing the drive from operating properly. The motor has a noise level rating of 70 dB when standing 1 meter away from the motor and using a PWM signal of 4 kHz.

The 2AD101D-B05OA1-BD03-D2N2/S003 features a balanced shaft key without a sealing ring although the motor is IP 65 rated however it is recommended to avoid applying water jets from the front of the motor to prevent soaking the internals. The features an Axial blower which requires 230 Volts AC to operate. This blower helps the motor cool down by sucking the air from the rear, passing it through the internals of the motor, and then exiting from the front. The Axial blower also has an IP 65-rated terminal box that has the power connection protected inside the enclosure.
