The 2AD101D-B05OA1-BD03-B2N2 is an AC servo motor that features an Axial blower fan used for cooling it down. This motor can reach a speed of up to 9000 rpm while consuming a current of 42 amperes hence to cool down the winding of this motor it is required for it to have an Axial blower rather than a surface type cooling. This motor is designed to have B05 flange mount construction which allows the motor to connect itself to the compatible component directly around the motor shaft helping it prevent moving or falling out of place causing damage to other components and individuals nearby.
The 2AD101D-B05OA1-BD03-B2N2 features a balanced keyway type shaft which allows the motor to mount in place to a component by locking in place creating a stronger connection, unlike the smooth shaft which does not feature a keyway design. The balanced keyway also allows the motor to be radially strong preventing bends or shaft breaks in the motor shaft.
The 2AD101D-B05OA1-BD03-B2N2 operates on 187 Volts AC 3 phase at 50 to 60 Hz and draws a current of 42 Amperes. This motor does not feature a shaft holding brake but does feature a high-resolution feedback control system which helps control the position of the shaft and store the shaft position on an onboard memory which the motor control system can utilize to move back to the position in the case of power loss. The motor does not feature a second shaft end to increase the shaft position accuracy by installing a second encoder of the user's choice. The motor has a power terminal on the top which helps operate the motor and the encoder as well.
