The 2AD101C-B05OA1-BD03-A2N1 motor is manufactured by the Bosch Rexroth Group. This type of asynchronous motor is air cooled and is designed to work as a servo-drive or main-spindle drive in high-precision industrial applications like machine tools, packaging machinery and printing machines. This model has a frame size of 101 with a frame length of C. The motor comes with a compact protected design that can withstand adverse conditions and is classified as IP 65 protected. IP 65 rated motors are dust-proof and impervious to liquid contaminants like water and soluble oils so they can be used in setups where there is risk of contact with such contaminants.

For thermo protection, the motor is equipped with axial blower which functions in air cooling of the motor. The motor also has inbuilt thermistors to monitor and control the temperature in its windings which ensures that there is no heat damage in case of overload. This unit comes with flange mounting style and is also equipped with connectors at the top of the unit to facilitate the connection of electrical supply to the unit.
