The 2AD100D-B35OL1-AS03-B2N1 is an asynchronous motor in the 2AD series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. This type of motor is designed for use as rotary main-spindle and servo-drive motors, offering intelligent drive solutions in metal-forming machine tools, packaging, machinery, printing machines and other high-precision applications. This model has a frame of size 100 with a length of D. It comes equipped with fixed blower units for surface ventilation of the motor. It is also equipped with inbuilt thermistors in the windings of the motor to monitor and control the temperature for prevention of overload. The motor is rated for an ambient temperature of 0-40 degrees Celsius.

This motor is rated in the IP 65 protection class so it has robust protection against liquid contaminants like soluble oils and coolants and is also dustproof. The sealing of the housing allows for safe use of the motor even in less than ideal industrial setups. The unit has Flange and Foot Mounting type. The motor comes with an integrated high-resolution feedback system that functions in the detection of speed and position. With this feedback system, a separate incremental encoder is not required.
