Product Description
The Rexroth Bosch group is known for developing the hardware required for various products that range from drive controllers to drive converters. This group also develops brushless servo AC motors used in fabricating semiconductors, machine tools, axes, packing equipment, etc. One of these motors is the 2AD100D-B05OR1-AS03.
These machines have an output shaft that rotates in a clockwise rotational direction. Their designation is 2AD in which D is said to be the size of the motor and the winding designation is of AS. These motors come in the size 100 and their construction includes flange mounting. The nominal power is 7.5 kW and the nominal torque is 48 Nm. The base speed is 1500 resolutions per minute but the maximum speed is 9000 resolutions per minute. The nominal current is 35A and the nominal voltage is 173 V. The thermal time constant of this motor is 45 minutes. This motor weighs around 60 kg. The rotor inertia is 0.028 kgm2. The ambient temperature is somewhat around 0 degrees to 45 degrees. The average sound pressure level at 1 meter is 70 dB(A). The bearing standard for these motors is “N”. It comes without a side B shaft. These motors come with a holding brake. When brakes are electrically engaged the holding torque is 30 Nm and when they are electrically released the torque is 24 Nm. The nominal terminal voltage is 24 V with a residual of 10%. The nominal current in holding brakes is 0.9 A and the maximum braking energy that is released is 20,000 Ws. For cooling purposes, this machine uses an axial blower in which the air flows from B to A.
These motors come with a module in which a standard control panel is attached that makes the setup and configuration easy and convenient for everyone.
