Product Description
Bosch Rexroth manufactures the 2AD100D-B05OL1-AS03-B2N1 AC servo motor. This air-cooled induction motor can be used as a servo drive or as the primary spindle drive. It has a 100mm frame size, which is the measurement between the center of the shaft and the base of the foot, and a 'D' frame length, which is an indication of a greater continuous torque capability than lesser frame lengths in the series. The motor's power connector is on top and pointed to the left; it is made for flange installation (B05). An axial blower, which moves air from side B to side A, provides cooling.
The motor has a strong, electronically released holding brake with a torque of 100 Nm, and its windings are arranged in a star connection (AS). The motor uses a digital servo feedback system with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder for position feedback. There is no shaft end on side B (N) of the motor shaft, which is simple and balanced with the whole key. It complies with vibration severity level R and has standard bearings (N) installed. The maximum rotational force that this motor can produce continuously at its rated speed (nN) of 1600 rpm is 48 Nm, or its rated torque (MN).
The mechanical power the motor can produce at its rated speed and torque is represented by the rated power (PN), which is 8.0 kW. The current drawn at rated power and torque is known as the rated current (IN), and it is 20.5 A. Additionally, the stationary continuous current (I1) and torque (M1), which represent the highest values while the motor is not moving, are 20.5 A and 48 Nm, respectively. There is no torque reduction prior to reaching the rated speed since the derating speed (n1) is equal to the rated speed.
