Product Description
Rexroth Bosch designed and developed the 2AD100D-B05OB2-AS13 motor. This alternating current-based asynchronous motor is a variant of the 2AD series. Using the type code, several frame sizes with specified options may be chosen for the best possible motor-to-machine match. Asynchronous motors are quite inexpensive. There are no sliding rings or brushes, thus they require minimal maintenance. They have good speed regulation and can keep a consistent pace. It is efficient in changing electrical power into mechanical energy when it is running, not just at the beginning. The asynchronous motor can only be combined with digital devices as these are not compatible with analogue drives.
The 2AD100D-B05OB2-AS13 has flexible external mounting options and can be vertically or horizontally mounted because of the flanges. To operate the motor for an extended time, it must be maintained and cleaned, and the compatibility of each new component must be tested before employment. The motor has a feature of derating to protect the motor from permanent damage. The power plug of the motor is at side B and the input power connector is fixed at the top side.
The axial blower is attached to the motor with the help of a plug and flange socket. The type of connection that is used to connect the axial fan with the motor is 4 pins. The motor has a holding brake (electrically clamped) that has a 1.5 kg mass and runs at a DC voltage of 24 ± 10 % V. The brake holds the rotor from further rotation when the power is off and keeps the motor at a standstill. Installation errors can produce forces that could damage the motor, so the asynchronous motor must be mounted correctly.
