The 2AD100D-B05OB1-AS03-B2N2 is a main spindle asynchronous motor that requires no maintenance. It comes with motor feedback of high resolution. The motor feedback measures the rotor position and signals it to the drive. This regulates speed and rotor position. It functions with a resolution of 1/2000000th revolution. This kind of spindle motor has a motor frame size of 100 and a motor length of D. The admissible temperature ranges from 0° to +45°C and permissible installation altitude is up to 1,000 meters above sea level. The nominal power, torque, current, and voltage of this series of AD100D motors are 7.5 kW, 48 Nm, 35A, and 173 V.

The 2AD100D-B05OB1-AS03-B2N2 comes with housing and cover that are, per DIN 40050, protected against contact with parts either moving or to which voltage is being applied, and, penetration by solid objects and water. It is recommended to prevent contamination by liquids penetrating the output shaft when attaching the motor.
