The 2AD100D-B05OA1-AS13/S001 is an exceptionally advanced AC motor designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for high-speed industrial applications. This motor belongs to the 2AD series of motors and the 2AD series motors are asynchronous motor that has a vast range of speed and requires no maintenance. The normal operating conditions for this motor are 0 to 45 C and 0 to 1000 meters above sea level. The motor has a high protection rating (IP rating) against the environment, and can comfortably operate in harsh working environments.

This motor is suitable for high power and torque applications and the nominal torque (Mn) and nominal power (Pn) of this motor are 48 Nm and 7.5 kW respectively. This is also an ideal motor for high-speed applications and the base speed & maximum speed of the motor are 1500 min-1 and 9000 min-1. The current and voltage requirements of this motor in nominal conditions are 35 A and 173 V. The required cross-section for the power supply connector for this motor is 6 mm2 and the power terminal direction is on the shaft side.

An axial blower is used in this motor for cooling operations and the thermal time constant for cooling is 45 minutes. This motor is also equipped with an electrically engaged type holding break of 30 Nm. The mass of the holding break is only 1.5 kg and the release delay and clamping delay for this motor is 100 ms and 60 ms respectively. The maximum breaking energy for the holding break is 20,000 WS. This motor also has high-resolution motor feedback for advanced control, and the output shaft of the motor is smooth without any shaft sealing.
