Servo systems with 2AD motors are well-suited to applications such as reshaping machines, printing machines and machine tools. 2AD motors include several integrated features as well as several optional features. Integrated motor features include support for axial and radial blowers and motor feedback. Optional features include holding brakes and shaft seals. The 2AD100C-B05OB1-AS13-D2N1/S003 comes with support for high-performance motor feedback. This feature allows motor use with servo controllers that enable accurate control of motor speed, position and output torque. The motor is equipped with a shaft that includes a key. The motor shaft is balanced with a full key, which helps to reduce vibrations and ensure accurate performance.
In addition to the key, the motor shaft is equipped with a shaft seal that prevents ingress of water and dust from the external environment. As a result, the shaft is IP65 rated, which allows motor use in a range of operating environments. The 2AD100C-B05OB1-AS13-D2N1/S003 is a surface cooled device.
