Product Description
Bosch Rexroth embodies engineering excellence. It is a trusted brand recognized for its intelligent factory automation products, including the induction motors of the 2AD series. These motors can be used to create drive solutions for various applications with the IndraDrive, DIAX, or EcoDriveseries. Their applications include reshaping machines and machine tools.
The 2AD100C-B05OA4-AS03-B2N1 is one of the air-cooled asynchronous motors in the 2AD series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It relies on a surface cooling system comprising an axial blowing unit for heat elimination. This blowing unit creates cooling air currents fed over the motor’s surface via baffles and traveling from side B to side A. The efficiency of this cooling method enables the motor to deliver a high power output even with its compact size. There are standard bearings in the 2AD motor, consisting of deep-groove ball bearings that absorb low to medium radial and axial forces. These bearings are pre-lubricated, reducing the motor’s maintenance requirements. They are suitable for high rotational speeds and generate minimal noise.
With the output shaft with keyway per DIN 6885-1 in the 2AD100C-B05OA4-AS03-B2N1, the keyed transmission of torques with constant direction is guaranteed. It also has low requirements for the shaft-hub connection. The motor is balanced with the included key. Its nominal speed is 1,500 revolutions per minute, while its maximum speed is 9,000 revolutions per minute. High-resolution motor feedback is the integrated encoder system in the motor, evaluating its position and speed. Thanks to its squirrel-cage rotor, it can withstand high mechanical stress. It should be operated at a maximum temperature of 45oC and installed at a maximum height of 1,000m above mean sea level.
