Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is a global powerhouse in the automation industry where advanced engineering meets innovation. Its 2AD asynchronous motors are combined with the products in the IndraDrive, DIAX, and EcoDrive series to form intelligent drive solutions with open functions. They are used in metal-forming machines, food processing and packaging machines, reshaping machines, and printing machines.
The 2AD100C-B05OA4-AS03-A2N1 is a Bosch Rexroth 2AD induction motor model with a nominal speed of 1,500 revolutions per minute. It is designed to operate at a nominal current of 27A and a nominal voltage of 168V, reaching a maximum speed of 9,000 revolutions per minute. Its smooth shaft without a sealing ring provides a force-actuated shaft-hub connection with zero backlash and minimal noise generation. Clamping sets, clamping sleeves or clamping elements are used to couple the machine elements to be driven. The heat generated during its operation is eliminated via an efficient heat dissipation mechanism comprising an axial blower. It works via surface cooling to generate air currents that travel from side B to side A. Air baffles guide the currents over the motor’s surface.
Like other air-cooled induction motors in the 2AD series, the 2AD100C-B05OA4-AS03-A2N1 features a squirrel-cage rotor with a moment of inertia of 0.021 kgm2. It has a sturdy build that enhances the motor’s operational reliability, with fewer parts susceptible to wear and tear. This rotor gives the high starting torque required to initiate rotation when the motor is started from rest. The standard bearings in the 2AD motor remain lubricated throughout their service life, estimated at 20,000 operating hours. They consist of deep-groove ball bearings suitable for absorbing low to medium radial and axial forces.
