Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s products help users unlock new levels of efficiency and productivity in various industries. Its 2AD motors are used to build intelligent drive solutions with digital control devices from the INDRADRIVE, DIAX or ECODRIVE series. Their applications include reshaping machines and machine tools.
The 2AD100C-B05OA1-AS01/S001 is a model of the compact induction motors in the 2AD series by Bosch Rexroth. It is dynamically balanced according to the requirements of DIN ISO 2373 and belongs to Vibration Severity Level R. NTC thermistors are integrated into its windings for temperature monitoring. They are energy-efficient options with impressive sensitivity to temperature changes, making them ideal for averting motor damage due to overheating. This 2AD motor has a squirrel-rage rotor that accommodates high mechanical stresses and electrical currents during operation. It has a moment of inertia of 0.021 kgm2 and provides a high starting torque, allowing the motor to initiate rotation and overcome inertia when starting from rest.
Flange mounting is the designated mounting style for the 2AD100C-B05OA1-AS01/S001 based on its frame shape. Its housing is built to meet the demands of the IP 65 protection category according to DIN 40 050, indicating that it is touch-proof, dustproof, and impervious to multidirectional water jet sprays. The housing design also protects it from contact with parts either moving or to which voltage is being applied. Heat elimination during the motor’s operation is via surface cooling using an axial blower on side B. This blower generates an air stream fed over the motor’s surface via baffles from side B to side A. The 2AD motor should be installed at a maximum height of 1,000m above sea level.
