Product Description
The Rexroth IndraDrive drive system is one of the most revolutionary drive systems in the drive market produced by Bosch Rexroth. The drive system features a broad class of components ranging from servo motors and gearboxes to converters, inverters, and power units. One of the classes of motors in the system is the 1MB series of asynchronous frameless spindle motors. The typical applications of the motors are modern CNC machines, processing centers, transfer lines, and special-purpose machines.
The 1MS160F-4B-A1 is a model of the 1MS stators designed by Bosch Rexroth as components of the 1MB frameless spindle motor series. It features a liquid cooling option that equips its 1MB motor with a high power density. In its liquid cooling method, a liquid coolant flows around its aluminum cooling jacket, and this regulates the temperature of the spindle housing. This cooling mechanism is the most important heat dissipation method of the entire motor as most of the heat generated is eliminated this way.
The motor of the 1MS160F-4B-A1 has a frame length of 160, a frame length F, and a winding code indicated as 4B. The stator is equipped with an approximately 1.5 m long loom of cables, conducted through the stator end with a bigger exterior diameter. It is used for its electrical connections. The loom is covered with a protective hose and has three power wires. The stator belongs to the IP 00 protection category according to EN 60529, which means that it can easily be damaged by the entry of solid extrinsic materials or water jets. Hence, it should be used with protective seals. It requires a maximum ambient temperature of 40oC. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
