Product Description
The 1MS160E-4A-A1 stator from Bosch Rexroth is used in the manufacturer’s 1MB series of asynchronous frameless spindle motors with high speed. The stator must be removed from the motor only after the power connection has been disconnected and taking care that it does not get turned ON again accidentally. The interior of the product should be protected against bearing grease, cooling lubricants and dirt. The device causes the motor to have a high power density when the cooling is achieved using a liquid. The unit belongs to the 1MS product group of offerings from the manufacturer. It does not have any special design.
This stator is characterized by an aluminum cooling jacket. The product can be integrated easily into the associated machine. The motor using the device is deployed in turning, grinding and milling applications. Its grounding connection has to be implemented as per the manufacturer’s specifications. The ends of the stator are referred to as thick and thin ends. The unit mounting is to be done axially at any one end in the motor spindle in order to inhibit its movement. It is lightweight and has a small size. The stator comes with two O-rings each for coolant sealing and sealing the leakage grooves.
The product has tapped holes on both ends. The device installation is to be done only after lubricating the provided O-rings. It is to be ensured that the O-rings are not twisted at any point in time. The unit has to be pinned to its endplate. This stator comes attached with a 1.5m cable gland enclosed in a protective tube. The product installation must be done only on a clean surface. The device is supposed to be subject to a high voltage test after it has been installed. This stator with its one-year warranty can be shipped to any global destination.
