The Rexroth 1MB frameless spindle motors are a family of highly rigid, liquid-cooled asynchronous motors designed and manufactured by the brand. Their applications include turning, milling, and grinding in equipment such as transfer lines, machine tools, and processing centers. These motors are equipped with the 1MS series of stators, a range of liquid-cooled stators that increase the power density of the spindle motors and enhance heat transfer from them.
The 1MS140F-4A-A1/S010 is a model of the stators of the 1MB frameless spindle motors by Bosch Rexroth. The motors with this stator model have a frame size designated as 140 and a frame length F. The stator is equipped with an aluminum cooling jacket through which a coolant flows for the liquid cooling of the motor. The coolant flow through this jacket ensures the quick and efficient transfer of heat from the motor and promotes the uniform regulation of the spindle housing temperature. All electrical connections of the stator are achieved using 1.5 m cables connected through the stator end with a bigger exterior diameter.
Special NTC resistors, PTC resistors, and bimetals in the 1MS140F-4A-A1/S010 play a protective role by monitoring temperature. The stator can also be used for different kinds of third-party drives. It requires an ambient temperature that ranges from 0oC to 40oC for its use and a maximum installation height of 1000m above sea level.
