The 1MB asynchronous frameless spindle motors are made up of a stator and a rotor. The rotor is an essential component of the spindle motor, which has several areas of use such as turning, milling, and grinding in machine tools, transfer lines, processing centers, and special purpose machines. The rotor is delivered as part of the 1MB motor or as a separate subitem.
The 1MR310D-A112 is a rotor designed to be used with the 1MB asynchronous frameless spindle motor of frame size 310. Its rotor position is measured by the motor feedback, and it communicates it to the control device. The control device is responsible for regulating the speed and position of the spindle. It is the moving component of the 1MB spindle motor, and its movement around the stator's iron plates generates alternating current. The 1MR310D-A112 rotor should be used at an ambient temperature of 40°C and a setup elevation of 1000m above sea level. The use of the rotor outside these parameters reduces its lifespan and causes damage. Its protection class is IP 00 according to IEC 60529; hence it should not be used in a damp environment or cleaned with streams of water.
The heat generated by the 1MR310D-A112 is dissipated by cooling rings mounted near the rotor. Liquid coolants are also used in absorbing the power loss from it. It has a pressure oil connection sealed with threaded pins after being mounted; the threaded pins are a part of the rotor order. This rotor weighs 80 kg and has an inside diameter of 112 mm.
