Product Description
The 1MR160N-B074/S001 is a 1MR160 rotor designed and developed by Bosch Rexroth. It functions as a component of the 1MB asynchronous motor. This rotor is suitable for use with a 1MB motor with a frame size designation of 160 and length "N." The construction of the 1MR160N-B074/S001 avails it of a sleeve and front-positioned laminated core with balancing rings. Bosch Rexroth recommends a shrinkfitting process to attach this rotor to its corresponding spindle. An additional condition that must be met before assembly is heating the rotor to 180o C and not more than 200o C to effect a material expansion that facilitates a forceless consolidation with the spindle.
After assembly, it is necessary to balance the 1MR160N-B074/S001 rotor in accordance with its approved vibration severity rating (DIN VDE 0530) to maintain a tight-fit connection with the spindle. During operation, this 1MR160 rotor unit must attain equilibrium. This can be achieved by radially screwing threaded pins into the circumference of the balancing ring and holding them in place with glue. The 1MR160N-B074/S001 has the tendency to retain heat (T > 50o C). Therefore, operators must preempt hot surfaces and use protective gloves and clothing when working around this unit – as a measure of operational safety.
The 1MR160N-B074/S001 rotor is generously protected with a corrosion inhibitor for transport and storage purposes only. Prior to assembly, the protective lacquer must be removed. But if the need arises, the corrosion protection may be reapplied after assembly. Dirt, dust, and metal shavings must be removed from the rotor's 74 mm inside diameter. The 1MR160N-B074/S001 features a unique NTC/PTC resistor design that facilitates compatibility with third-party controllers. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
